I guess it only makes sense that people are now putting money into a lot of virtual things. Back when there was plenty of land to either explore or takeover people could quench their desire for land. But now all the land is accounted for and the moon is not quite yet an option so people are left with a virtual world where there can be endless amounts of land that can be bought and explored. Of course a big problem with having endless land is that it isnt worth anything.
